Our inaugural 60-Second Garden Video Challenge was filled with creative videos of wonderful gardens. We were very moved by the passion shown for all the gardens.
Some 13,000 people viewed the videos during the course of the Challenge. You can see all the videos on our YouTube channel. This was a “peoples’ choice” award. The winning videos were not judged for quality or based on the total number of views, but were chosen by the total number of “thumbs up” over 3+ months of voting.
Thanks to some helpful suggestions, we decided to divide the winners into two groups—Residential garden videos and Institutional garden videos (schools, community gardens, etc.). Thus, in addition to the monthly winners for July, August and September, we were able to hand out three more awards than planned. See all the winners below.
