The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District has donated five high-quality rain barrels to the Chicago Excellence in Gardening Awards.
Commissioner Kim du Buclet has arranged for MWRD to provide CEGA with five rain barrels, which we are offering as prizes in a raffle. When you enter your garden in the 2022 competition, your entry can place your garden into the raffle to win one of these great sustainability tools.
The Chicago Excellence in Gardening Awards recognize and honor the hard work and creativity of gardeners who contribute to the beauty, social justice and sustainability of the city. It’s free to all residents, and entries will be accepted until July 7th.
